Maximising the benefits of your woodland by managing biodiversity and adding value to timber products.

This is an action packed day of demonstrations and talks, hosted by David Llewellyn of Woodland Ways and Nathan Home of Home Forestry.

Alstor 8×8 mini forwarder demonstration— machine capabilities, presenting timber for extraction

Woodmizer mobile saw mill—adding value to timber

Firewood processor—increasing profitability with automation

Traditional crafts and cleaving demonstrations

Pigs as an alternative method for ground clearance

Woodland Biodiversity—getting the balance right.


Meeting arrangements for the event is as follows:-

Tuesday 6th August 2013 2012 9.00am—3pm

Venue: Frank Chapman Outdoor Education Centre, Park End, Bewdley, Worcestershire, DY12 2TY

This event will take place outdoors on so please ensure suitable clothing and footwear is worn.

The event costs £10.00 which includes lunch and refreshments.

Reservations will be given on a first come first served basis.
